Terms and Conditions 


Hounds Daycare Ltd – Membership Terms & Conditions


Your membership provides one/two/three/four/five guaranteed daycare day(s) per week, with flexibility to rearrange sessions where availability allows.

Memberships run on a monthly basis, can be cancelled at any time (subject to notice), and are designed to provide consistent enrichment for your dog while allowing some flexibility around your schedule.


1. Membership Overview

1.1. Hounds Daycare Ltd (“Hounds”) offers membership packages which provide regular daycare services at a fixed monthly fee.
1.2. Memberships are designed to provide consistent weekly attendance while allowing a degree of flexibility for members.
1.3. These Membership Terms apply in addition to Hounds’ General Terms and Conditions.


2. Membership Structure

2.1. Bronze Membership: £120 per month (1 day per week)
2.2. Silver Membership: £232 per month (2 days per week)
2.3. Gold Membership: £336 per month (3 days per week)
2.4. Premium Membership: £448 / £560 per month (4 / 5 days per week)

2.5. Membership includes the relevant number of sessions per week for up to 48 weeks per calendar year.
2.6. The remaining four weeks account for closures, holidays, or member absence. Hounds is closed for two weeks over Christmas, which is included within this allowance.
2.7. Membership secures a
regular allocated day(s) each week, subject to availability at the time of sign-up.


3. Payment Terms

3.1. Membership fees are payable monthly via standing order.
3.2. Payments are due on the
1st of each month, or the nearest working day unless otherwise agreed.
3.3. Memberships operate on a rolling monthly basis and will continue until cancelled in accordance with Section 7.
3.4. Failure to make payment may result in suspension or termination of membership and loss of allocated space.


4. Use of Membership Days

4.1. Membership entitles the member to the relevant number of sessions per week on their allocated day(s).
4.2. Membership secures the
space, not attendance.
4.3. Non-attendance does not entitle the member to refunds or credits.
4.4. Days are non-transferable between dogs or owners unless agreed in writing.
4.5. Additional daycare days may be booked separately, subject to availability and charged at the applicable rate.


5. Flexibility, Notice Period & Day Changes

5.1. Members may request to move or swap their allocated day(s) within an eight-week period before or after their usual booking.
5.2. All changes are strictly subject to availability and are not guaranteed.


24-Hour Notice Requirement

5.3. A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to rearrange any booked session.

5.4. Where at least 24 hours’ notice is provided:

  • The session may be moved to another date (subject to availability)

5.5. Where less than 24 hours’ notice is provided:

  • The session will be forfeited, or
  • The member may choose to rebook an alternative day at 50% of the standard additional day rate

5.6. Hounds reserves the right to decline swap requests during peak periods or where capacity has been reached.


6. Rollover of Unused Days

6.1. Pre arranged missed sessions (outside of 24 hours notice) may be rearranged to alternative dates, subject to availability.
6.2. Rollover sessions must be booked within a 8 weeks and cannot be guaranteed.
6.3. Rollover sessions do not take priority over regular membership bookings.
6.4. No refunds or credits will be issued for unused sessions.


7. Cancellation of Membership

7.1. Membership may be cancelled at any time by the member.
7.2. A
minimum of one full calendar month’s notice is required.
7.3. Cancellation must be provided in writing (e.g. email or WhatsApp).
7.4. Membership will terminate at the end of the notice period.
7.5. Payments made are non-refundable. Any unused sessions during the notice period will be forfeited if not used.


8. Membership Availability and Priority

8.1. Membership spaces are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
8.2. Members receive priority access to their allocated weekly slot(s).
8.3. Additional or rearranged days are subject to availability and do not carry priority over other bookings.


9. Closures and Operational Changes

9.1. Membership pricing reflects operation over approximately 48 weeks per year.
9.2. Hounds is closed:

  • For two weeks over the Christmas period
  • On UK Bank Holidays

9.3. During the Christmas closure period:

  • No sessions operate
  • Sessions cannot be rearranged into this period

9.4. Where a scheduled day falls on a Bank Holiday:

  • Members may rearrange the session within the same week, (or one week either side) subject to availability

9.5. Hounds may also close due to extreme weather or operational necessity. No refunds will be issued where closures are already accounted for within the membership structure or are outside of Hounds’ control.


10. Price Adjustments

10.1. Hounds reserves the right to review and adjust membership pricing at any time.
10.2. Members will be provided with reasonable notice (typically at least 30 days).
10.3. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated pricing.


11. Behaviour and Suitability for Membership

11.1. Membership is only available to dogs deemed suitable for group daycare.
11.2. All dogs must complete a settling-in process prior to joining.
11.3. Hounds reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership if a dog’s behaviour presents a risk to staff or other dogs.


12. Non-Usage and Fair Use Policy

12.1. Membership is intended for regular, consistent use.
12.2. Hounds reserves the right to review memberships where usage is significantly irregular.
12.3. Abuse of flexibility, rollover, or rescheduling provisions may result in restrictions or termination of membership.


13. Amendments to Membership Terms

13.1. Hounds reserves the right to amend these Membership Terms at any time.
13.2. Members will be notified of any significant changes.
13.3. Continued use of membership constitutes acceptance of revised terms.


14. Agreement

By enrolling in a Hounds Membership, the member confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to these Membership Terms and Conditions alongside the General Terms and Conditions.
